  • BEFORE an annual inspection begins, a deposit is required.
  • The deposit is refundable until work begins, then any labor charges incurred will be deducted from any refund.
  • The deposit can be conveniently paid online when you schedule your annual through our secure online system
  • You also have the option of paying the deposit in-person in our business office
  • Cash and checks are accepted in the business office

  • Remove personal items and any loose items of value
  • Bring all engine, airframe and propeller logbooks current and historical
  • Bring a current Weight and Balance sheet
  • Bring an equipment list
  • Bring keys to the aircraft
  • Bring any static or pitot covers, aircraft covers etc... you would like used when work is complete.
  • Verify that the Registration and Airworthiness Certificate are with the aircraft.
  • A brief "Pre-Work Quality Assurance Inspection" will be performed and any pre-existing damage will be photographed and documented.
  • Any items left in the aircraft will be removed, documented and stored securely while work is in progress.

  • The aircraft is run and evaluated by a mechanic before being brought into the maintenance hangar
  • A full inspection is performed as directed by the most current version of your aircrafts maintenance manual, a more detailed list of some of the items inspected during an annual is listed below
  • Superior Aero Services subscribes to ATP Aviation Hub™ which is updated daily with the most current maintenance manuals for hundreds of aircraft.
  • When the inspection is complete, an "Aircraft Inspection Findings Report" is sent to you along with a comprehensive estimate for all required and recommended repairs.

  • You will receive an honest and direct estimate of repairs to complete your annual
  • You are encouraged to contact Superior Aero Services with any questions you may have about your annual
  • Items can be approved or deferred at your discretion
  • Once a final list of approved repair items is decided upon, a final estimate is provided and work begins

  • Once repairs have begun, an updated estimated date of completion will be provided to you as soon as possible
  • Completion dates are affected by
    • Scope or size of repairs
    • Availability of parts
    • Shipping (Sometimes affected by weather)
    • Current workload of the maintenance facility

  • You are notified of progress
  • Photos and videos can be provided for better clarification
  • You are kept aprised of progress and the anticipated completion date
  • You have constant real-time contact with the professionals doing the work on your plane

An aircraft is considered complete when:

  • All items listed in the approved work order are complete
  • The aircraft and related systems have been run and tested
  • The areas of the aircraft that have been worked on have been cleaned
  • All required logbook entries have been completed
  • Required 337's, POH supplements or other documents have been filed as required.
  • The aircraft has received a "Post Work Quality Assurance Inspection"

Superior Aero Services is proud to provide world-class service to its customers. Achieving excellent results requires an excellent quality assurance and improvement program. All aircraft receive numerous QA inspections while in our care, some of the things we inspect for include:

  • Compliance with all regulations
  • Thoroughness
  • Completeness
  • Cleanliness
  • Missing screws, bolts, ties, clamps etc...
  • Tools, parts or debris left behind
  • A review of the repair items and associated checklists
  • Accurate recording of labor, parts costs, shipping charges and any other associated fees
  • Airworthiness
When we inspect an aircraft, we inspect it as if it were our own aircraft that we were about to take off in. Your safety and satisfaction are our highest priorities

Once all work is complete and the aircraft has passed the final QA inspection process, you are contacted and informed that work is complete.

  • The final invoice is e-mailed to you
  • You have the option to pay online via credit card or ACH bank draft through our secure online system.
  • You may choose to pay in person via Cash, Check or credit card.
  • Once payment is received, you are provided with a receipt and the aircraft is released.
